What Are Credits?
Updated over a week ago

Mastering the credit system in Brand Expand is key to optimizing your marketing efforts. Review this article to understand how actions like review requests and launch campaigns consume credits, and start strategizing for maximum impact.

What are credits?

โ€‹Credits are a form of software currency that automatically renew every month based on your subscription level. Credits can be used towards activities in the software such as getting sales (launch campaigns) and sending review requests.

Credit breakdown:

  • 1 sale received = 1 credit.

  • 1 review request = 1 credit.

  • Ex: A 100 unit launch with review requests turned on will consume 200 credits (100 for the sales + 100 for the review requests).

What happens to my unused credits at the end of the month?

All unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. You can check your next charge date and available remaining credits anytime on your "My Account" page, accessed in the top right corner of your dashboard.

Are credits tied to a launch automatically?

Credits exist at an account level, not launch level. This means you can setup a launch campaign for multiple products and only consume a credit when a sale is successfully placed.

Do I lose credits if I end my launch earlier than planned?

No, credits are only removed from your account when an order is placed and when your billing cycle ends.

What if I want to go beyond my monthly credits?

No problem! When you exhaust all of your monthly credits you will be charged the credit overage fee associated with your subscription tier, which is displayed on your Account page. Note: You will not be notified before going into credit overage fees so it is important that you keep an eye on your credit count regularly.

Credits empower you to take control of your strategy in Brand Expand. Whether you want to boost social proof with review requests* or create launches, credits give you the flexibility to achieve your goals.

*Review requests are not available on all marketplaces. Find more details here.
