Review Requests

How does this feature work and what are the limitations?

Updated over a week ago

Reviews can be requested on select marketplaces when setting up your campaign. Our process involves sending emails to buyers two weeks after their purchase and requesting an honest and unbiased product review. This is only done when a seller enables the "Request Reviews" functionality during the first step of the launch creation process.

It's important to understand that this approach does not guarantee reviews. On average, we observe a conversion rate of approximately 20-50% for review requests, depending on the product's desirability.

Note: Reviews are never required, never incentivized, and never influenced in any way.

How much does this cost?

Just like sales, our system uses credits as currency for review requests. 1 review request = 1 credit used.

For example, if you setup a 100-unit launch and enable review requests you will use 200 total credits assuming your campaign has a 100% sell-through rate. Keep in mind you only consume credits for completed orders.

Limitations

  1. We are unable to provide the Review Requests feature for launches set up on Amazon, as it may be seen as a violation of their Terms of Service. However, this feature is available for all other marketplaces except Amazon.

  2. You cannot specify which buyers you wish to request reviews from, you either enable it for all promotions or none.

  3. You can setup a launch for sales with no review requests, but you cannot setup a launch for just review requests without product sales. Reviews are requested from every successful buyer for your campaign if enabled during launch setup.

How to add review requests to a launch

To add this feature to a launch, you simply toggle it on when you first create the launch on the product setup page.

In summary, review requests enable you to drive additional social proof to your product listing so organic buyers understand more about your product. You consume one additional credit when this feature is enabled, but the clear ROI of having social proof outweighs the cost of these requests.
