Launch Types

Brand Expand offers two unique launch types, Organic and Promotional Claim Codes, and 2 subtypes, Organic (Title) and Link.

Organic Launch

Customers search for your product, provide valuable feedback related to your product and listing, then purchase the product based on your instructions. ACoS/Discount can range from 50% to 200% based on how much you are willing to pay for one sale.

Product desirability and desired sales volume are important factors when determining your ACoS. If your product is undesirable or niche (e.g. supplements or items for specific ailments) you'll likely need a higher ACoS whereas more desirable products may sell fine at a lower ACoS. Generally speaking, the higher your ACoS the higher your launch campaign conversion will be.

Promotional Claim Codes Launch

Customers click through to your product page, interact with your listing to provide valuable marketing research, then purchase your product with a single-use or group claim code. Claim codes are uploaded into our system during the launch setup process.

Worried about campaign desirability within our buyer network? Promotional claim codes can be combined with listing coupons to give buyers an additional discount.

Note: Our system requires sellers to upload 20% more coupons than their launch size to account for potential buyers claiming a code without completing their purchase. Regardless of how many codes you upload, we will never surpass your daily promotional volumes chosen during the launch setup.

Launch Subtypes

There are 2 launch subtypes you can choose between on the Destination tab of launch setup, whether it's organic or promotional claim code:

  1. Organic "title" launch: Customers use 2-5 words from your title or search phrase to find your product. Read more here.

  2. Link: Customers follow the provided link to your product. Read more here.

So, which subtype is "best"? Our comprehensive case study of over 1,000 past launches shows us that both options give a strong average sales improvement of 110% and a ~200% ROAS. This means your answer lies within your product, competitor analysis, risk tolerance, and launch campaign goals.
